Our Invitation Process
STEP ONE Contact me for a FREE Consultation or Get a QUOTE!
Get a quote for your custom designed wedding invitations or book an appointment to visit our showroom in Central Coast to get a first hand feel for our wedding invitations. During your visit, I will spend time with you to discuss your ideas and understand your needs, hopes and expectations. We can start with a design you’ve seen in our current collection and tailor it to your occasion or we can create an entirely new and unique design especially for you.
If you are physically unable to visit us, we can give you the same personalised service via email or on the phone. Please chat to us on the site or on our Facebook page or send us an email via our enquiry form.
A formal invitation quote is sent for your approval. This quote is valid for 2 weeks only. To start the design process, simply send me an approval by email and I will send you a formal invoice for a 50% deposit confirmation. After this, we will send you a few forms to confirm names, dates, times, locations, wording, fonts and wishing well wording options and any images, maps and other details you would like to incorporate into your design. Please note, deposit is non-refundable unless advised otherwise.
You will be provided with a draft of your design incorporating your ideas and selections via email (.PDF). You can make as many changes at this stage until we reach a final revision for your invitation (time allowing).
**NOTE: It is important to carefully examine the artwork to ensure all names and venues are spelt correctly, and that punctuation, dates and times are correct. Pocadot Invitations will not accept responsibility for any mistakes after the artwork has been approved and any further adjustments will incur extra charges.
Once a final design has been approved, in most cases a sample is printed, assembled and sent to you for final approval. The printed sample is complimentary to your invitation order. This allows you to see your invitation before final printing and production and to make sure that all details are correct and the colours are exactly how you want them.
STEP FIVE Final Payment, Printing and Production
Once you have approved your artworks, we will send you a final invoice that is payable before printing. This is the final step for you before your invitations are ready for pickup or delivery. Payment can be made by PayPal*, Credit Card* (*with surcharge) and direct deposit only.
Your wedding invitation order is sent for production and is completed within 4-6 weeks. Local pick up or delivery to your nominated address is available (delivery fees apply).
Remember to request for hand-cancelling at the Post office. Hand-cancelling is usually free of charge and means your invitations will manually be hand-sorted which will minimise any damages that can happen with automatic sorting.
